during secondary years, I spoke American accent since I was engrossed in US TV shows. but then I got to listen to BBC news & do listening exercises (for an exam) and now I have a mixed accent = ))

My roomates usually turn on the music in early morning and voice chat loudly at mid noon so that i couldn't sleep well these days. I have told him about this problem but he seems to ignore. What should i do

You should find another room or move out and live alone if they don't respect you

At what time does he wake up or start to open his music everyday? If the next-door residents have any complain about his disturbance, talk with them and draw them to his door to work the issue out together. Otherwise, it enables you to plan B. Now, at the moment when he begins to give you his daily dose, retaliate by sending him your particular kind of music (or a certain source of noise pollution) whatever at the same pitch, that you have prepared beforehand. Some insane suggestions could be: funeral instrumental music, or some southerner traditional fiddle music with mourning vocal or those along the line, etc.

Be sure to have your ears protected, make deafened with earplugs and enjoy the CONCERT.

The best solution for any unsatisfied matter is to make it, the problem more visible, obvious to common sense of frustration. Turn it into an evident issue and then get the hell out of it.

/Once upon a time, when I got fed up with shaving my beard every morning, I decided to let it grow all over my face and only trim the hair with scissors when I need. Arghh!! again I write long essay like my manhood.

Re: Practicing English with vOzers :D

Hey, anyone here please!

Come to talk with me in French if you can. It's a proposal.
I'm looking for a partner to communicate with me to practice my French and exchange ideas via the language.

I'll leave my Skype here if anyone is interested in private and long-term conversations.
Ah, yes! And English speaking friends are welcome, too.

Hi there!
Inbox me, please! Because right now I'm also looking for someone who can speak French. But, obviously you have to help me improve my language skills as my French is terrible
